HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE – HOMEWORK CLUB

Dear Parent / Guardian,

The department has a Homework Club every Wednesday from 3.30 – 5 pm. This is voluntary for the students to attend and they can leave once they have completed what they want to do.

The staff provide this for students who cannot access the Internet at home and need to research something, students who wish to type their work on the School system, students who are struggling with concepts and want extra support, students who get behind with class work and need to catch up.

We would ask that you encourage your child to discuss their course with you and support their attendance of the Homework Club so that they can achieve the best grade possible for them. This department has had a series of excellent results and we would like to continue this in spite of growing numbers. We are often able to enable students to achieve above their predicted potential grade through the support and encouragement we give.
