Students in Design class

St. George’s Secondary School strives to enable students of all abilities to achieve their full potential, within a Christian environment which is based firmly on Church of England principles.

Our promise to you is:

- To build upon the already acquired mental, physical and social skills of all our learners, in order to equip them with a better future and a more fulfilled, right now.

- To help learners become articulate, literate and numerate individuals, confident in their own abilities and hungry to achieve.

- To offer challenges appropriate to each student, thus developing in the individual lively, enquiring and imaginative minds with the ability to question and argue rationally, and to have the satisfaction of doing tasks well and with enjoyment.

- To provide a balanced, relevant curriculum which allows for differentiation of content, method and approach suitable to all students' needs and well being.

- To promote equal opportunities for all the learners at St George's Church of England School.

- To foster respect for religious and moral values and to appreciate the richness and knowledge offered by cultures and creeds that are different from their own.

- To encourage in students an awareness of their self-worth, an understanding of the world in which they live and of the interdependence of individuals, groups and nations.

The aims of St George's School are under review at the moment as part of the Whole School Improvement Plan.
