ART -

The foundations of the BTEC Art courses that we offer are taught at KS3. During KS3 students are introduced to a variety of projects that will reinforce fundamental skills that will be needed to progress at a higher level. Projects introduce students to materials and techniques in order to build upon their level of skill from KS2. Projects introduce students to various artists and students are encouraged to identify and analyse their different approaches. Projects all end with a final piece, this combines a variety of skills learnt within the project and is their best outcome.

Past projects have included; `Kandinsky`, `Portrait project`, `Figure Drawing`, `Klimt`, `scary portrait project` and `issues`.

MUSIC -
