In year 9 we aim to get students started on their options courses and to enable them to make good progress, leading to high attainment in years 10 and 11. We want to help students progress and develop, both academically and socially. You will find copies of relevant information booklets, homework timetables and letters home on the links shown. The Year 9 Charity is Cancer Research UK.

To report an absence due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, please contact the school's absence line on 01843 609030 on each day of the absence. Alternatively, you can email Lynn Fisher, our Attendance Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org each day. Please include details of your child's name, form and the reason for absence in your message.
During year 9 students will be taught the option subjects they chose at the end of year 8.
All year 9 students have Maths,English and Science for 4 hours a week each, PE and Citizenship for 1 hour each and Citizenship for 2 hours. The remaining time is given to the option choices that they have made.
