Welcome to the ICT department, we hope you are able to develop your ICT skills in an enriching learning environment.
Curriculum Keystage 3
Keystage 4 ICT at GCSE level is totally vocational and follows the Edexcel AiDA, CiDA and DiDA courses. In year 10 it is mandatory that all students study the AiDA (Award in Digital Applications) course. Other students that choose ICT as an option have the choice of studying the CiDA (Certificate in Digital Applications) or the Full DiDA (Diploma in Digital Applications) course. DiDA qualifications prepare students for the real world of work or further education. They are designed to stimulate students’ creativity and develop real-world, practical skills that will motivate learning across a wide range of subjects.

Unit 4: ICT in Enterprise Unit 4 gives students the chance to apply business techniques such as market research, financial planning and product promotion to their skills in digital applications.
