Introduction to CAPA Faculty:

The CAPA Faculty consists of Art, Art Textiles, Drama and Music.

The Faculty has expanded enormously in the past few years and is housed in various areas around the school. 

Art and Art Textiles are all situated on the first floor of the Art Block in five large, bright, practical studios.

Drama is taught in two areas of the school, the main area being a Drama room situated behind the main school hall with access to the stage and the second area is on the first floor of the Art Block.

Music is currently taught in one large purpose built studio and, due to recent expansion, a mobile classroom including a purpose built recording studio and Gigajam Tuition Suite.  It is hoped that the planned “new build” will include more purpose built studios and practise rooms.

Events and Activities:

The CAPA Faculty regularly collaborate, as a team, on whole school events such as the yearly school production and cabaret nights.  Contributions from across the faculty are made in the form of set designs, costumes and music to compliment the performances.

The CAPA Faculty contributes to the whole school with many extra curricular projects including Art Club, Drama Club and many music activities.
