6th Form Results 2016

02nd September 2016

Year 13 at St George’s Church of England Foundation School celebrated another year of excellent academic and vocational results, where students either met or exceeded their target grades. Amongst the highest achievers this year were Natachsa Arnold, Shannon Todd, Nathan Carpenter, Emma Roberts Alysha Sayer, Abbie Godfrey, Jared Gisby and Jasmin Davey.

Abbie Godfrey and Jared Gisby must be congratulated on their academic success across a number of A levels and we are delighted that our students will now be able to take their places up across a number of universities, including Southampton, University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and Kent.  All of the sixth form students worked extremely hard to achieve their qualifications and below are a selection students’ reaction to their results.

Nathan Carpenter : “I am very happy with my results and I can’t wait to start at my first choice university.  Sixth form really supported me to get good grades and I am excited to be doing Business Management”.

Shannon Todd  : “I am pleased with my results and I am looking forward to studying at my first choice university.  I had a good time at sixth form and can’t wait for the future!”.

Abbie Godfrey : “Feeling very relieved about my results and getting into my first choice university.  Sixth form has taught me a lot and what to expect in the future”

“I am so pleased with my results!  I am excited to see that will happen in my future and with university.  Thank you to everyone that has helped me to get where I am now”. (Rhiann Grant)

“I am so pleased with my results and being accepted at my first choice university to study architecture.  I have enjoyed my time at sixth form and am looking forward to the future!” (Emily Smith)

“I am shocked about my results as I achieved far above what I needed to study my first choice of Primary Education.  I am excited for the future!” (Callum Martin)
