This is information in regards to the work that we have placed on the website for the closure of the school. The work is intended to provide opportunities for continuity of education for the children. Each Year group is clearly divided up into the following areas;
- Maths – This is divided into specific areas dependent on the year group.
- English – This has various elements which includes phonics and SPaG. We have included common exception words for each year group that they need to be able to read and write by the end of the year and end of KS1.
- Science – There will be a selection of Science activities for your child to complete based on what each year group has been doing in school.
- Topic – This is a research based project. There are a variety of different activities that you can do with your child.
We would suggest that you spend the following time each day on these tasks.
Reception - 20 minutes on Maths and 20 minutes on English
Purple Mash - There will be weekly 2Dos allocated to your child on Purple Mash that you will be able to work through. Along with Purple Mash there will be a list of useful websites on the school website that you will be able to access at home.
If you want to see only the 2Dos for a particular class then click here:
Click the little arrow next to class, select the class you want and click on the 2Dos. This will list the 2Dos by date so you are able to see which ones have been recently set.
Please continue to read with your child daily. This can include a variety of texts such as magazines, recipes, newspapers, books from home and reading comprehensions provided online. There are useful websites at the bottom of the page.
