Prayers of the Week

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the many men and women who have given their lives so that we can be free.  We think of those who fought in the two world wars as well as soldiers in more recent conflicts, including the forces in the services today.  We pray also for those who are living with life – changing injuries.  Lord, help us to make the best of our freedom.  In Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father,  We thank you for all those students who take on responsibilities in support of our school community. We think of the Executive teams and Student voice.  Please bless them in this work.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the Health Service and all those who work in it. We pray especially today for those in our community who are in hospital for treatment or tests and those awaiting tests and test results. We ask for your peace in each situation.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Heavenly Father,  We thank you for all the support and administrative staff in our school, for their commitment to helping us each day. Bless them in their work, we pray.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.

This prayer was written by a pupil from the secondary school.

Dear God, Thank you for everything you do and give to us. I wish all the wars and hate around the world will stop. I wish people less fortunate will eventually get food and shelter. Amen
