Term 3 Week 2

VERSE

Bless us with your presence in our school, our families and our friendships. Give us patience in all our dealings with others and help us to be compassionate.

Father God,

We pray for our Members of Parliament. We thank you for their commitment to serve the people of Thanet and ask that you give them wisdom and guidance as they work in their constituencies. Help us to respect and support them in whatever way we can to make Thanet a better place.

We thank you for our friends and families. We thank you for the love and support that they give us. Help us to appreciate them and to share the love they show us with others.

Term 3 Week 3

VERSE

Father God,

We pray for those known to us who are undergoing treatment or in hospital at the moment. We pray for healing for them and for ourselves, that we may be wise in finding the best ways to be supportive.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father God,

Give us the wisdom to show love and compassion to those in need, today and every day. Amen.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come, your will be done,

We ask you to help us to think of those less fortunate than us. We pray for people that live on the streets and other places that aren’t safe. We ask that you help us to be grateful and compassionate for others.

Dear Lord,

We thank you for all the support staff at school, especially those who clean, cook, repair and take care of all the school’s facilities. We thank you for their hard work and dedication to the school.

We ask that you bless all those involved with teaching in our school. We ask that you give them wisdom as they prepare lessons and also that they are able to help us learn. We thank you for them and their enthusiasm.

As today is Holocaust Memorial day, help us to never forget what happened. We ask that you bring Hope, healing and comfort to all those affected by traumatic memories. Help us to never to judge others because of their differences to us but to always see people through your eyes.

As we begin another week help us to ask to you for wisdom. Help us to make the right decisions and to listen to others that have more wisdom than we do ourselves.

We thank you for our families and the way they love and take care of us. We pray particularly for those families that are going through difficult times and ask that you give them strength and comfort.

Help us to remember our school’s values of Compassion, Friendship, Forgiveness, Hope & Wisdom. Help us to put these values into practice every day at school and at home.

Please bless everyone who has come into our school buildings today. We thank you for all the teachers and support staff who work here to make our school such a great place to learn and ask that you help us all to do, and be, the best that we can be for you and for each other.

We thank you that we can place our hope and trust in you and that you are always there for us, especially in difficult times.
