Prayers of the Week

Term 6 Week 5

Romans 12:5 That’s how it is with us. There are many of us, but we each are part of the body of Christ, as well as part of one another.

29.6.19  Today is the Lord’s Prayer,

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Father God, We pray for the elderly. We ask that you will provide the care and love they need through families, friends and local services. Give those who work with them love and compassion so that the individuals they care for still feel loved and valued in our community. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, We pray for the Year 6 students those who will join reception, all who are coming to our school in September. We thank you for them and pray you would bless them as they prepare to join our school community. In Jesus name, Amen.

Father God, We thank you for all the national and local services supporting the wellbeing of children and young people. We pray you would enable them to reach those in need and bless their work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, Thank you for the resources and the education that the teachers provide for us. Thank you for friends and family and the people who care and support us. Amen
