Prayers of the Week


Heavenly Father, Please help us to have a heart of forgiveness. Help us to forgive others as you have forgiven us. We pray for peace in the world and for good will to all as Christmas time approaches.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.


Heavenly Father, We thank you that you sent your son, Jesus for us. We thank you too that the best gifts in life are free. Help us to use our gifts to benefit others.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.


Heavenly Father, We are thankful for all that we have and that we are able to help others through all the different fundraising activities and charities we support.  Please help us to have a caring attitude and to share your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.


Heavenly Father, We pray you will bless the Christmas Tree Festival at St. Peter’s Church this weekend and thank you for the students involved in decorating the St George’s trees in the primary and secondary schools.  In Jesus name. Amen

Dear Lord, please help the people in war torn towns, cities and countries to cope with war and give them hope and may we help the people who suffer to regain their strength. Thank you Lord, Amen.

Heavenly Father, We thank you for Christmas and pray that you will bless our Carol Service tonight. We ask that all those who are participating will have a sense of your peace and that everyone will enjoy the service.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.


Dear Lord, We thank you for all of the opportunities we have had this term. Thank you for all the teachers who give of their time and energy to help us grow. Help all the staff to enjoy themselves and rest during the Christmas break. In Jesus’ name, Amen
