Term 4 Week 5

VERSE

Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you. – Psalm 33:22

Father God, We pray for your guiding hand on our leaders, locally, nationally and internationally to make wise decisions at this time. We pray that you will guide them through the days and weeks ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change; 
courage to change the things I can; 
and wisdom to know the difference.

Father God, We thank you for all of the teaching assistants and pastoral support staff who work so tirelessly for students at St George’s. We pray you would bless them and give them encouragement in all that they do.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, We pray you will be with all those who are unwell at this time. Renew their strength. Continue to guide our nurses, doctors and scientists to provide all the care they can. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, We are sorry for all the things that we have done that have hurt others. Help us to be better people and to work to the best of our ability at our learning and in our relationships with others.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Term 4 Week 6

VERSE

Heavenly Father, We thank you that we can place our hope and trust in you and that you are always there for us, especially in difficult times. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father God, Thank you for the New Life we see in spring.  Most of all Lord, We thank you for your Son, Jesus, Who suffered and died for us, on the cross and rose to life that first Easter Sunday to give us hope and new life. Bless us this Easter we pray. In Jesus name, Amen,

Thank you for the Easter holidays. We thank you for the chance we have had to rest. Give us all we need to succeed in the term ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Oh God, who gave Saint George strength and steadfastness during the many trials he endured for our holy faith, we ask you to keep our faith strong and free from doubt through his intercession. May we serve you faithfully with sincere hearts for all our days. Amen.

We ask that you will go ahead of us next week and give us your strength and guidance to help us to do our best. Help us to bless others just as you bless us.

Father God, We ask you to wrap your arms around us. Keep us safe. Keep us warm. Help us to be kind to people of every faith and none. Teach us to be caring and loving. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Father God, Help us to be strong in spirit, courageous in action and gentle in heart. Help us to act in wisdom, conquer our fears and doubts and discover our gifts. Help us to meet others with compassion, to be a source of healing, hope and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Father God, We thank you for all those who work in the medical profession. We ask that you bless them as they treat their patients and give them the wisdom and skills they need to serve us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear Lord, We thank you for another day of learning and for everyone in our school community that makes it possible. Thank you for all our premises staff who take care of the school and the buildings so that we can continue to learn and grow. Amen.
