Secondary Summer Reading Competition

A new exciting competition that is now open to all students from any year group with the chance for them to win the books on their summer reading list.

All students have to do to enter is express in a creative way what reading means to them. This could be a piece of writing about their reading experiences or it could be something inspired by a story they have read. It does not have to be in a certain length or form and it can be presented in any way (e.g. a poem, a story and poster…). The more creative the better!

The entry can be either handwritten on produced on a computer but must include:

  • Their name and form group.
  • The three books they would like to win – with the full name of the author and full title of the book.

Students’ entries should be handed to their English teacher by Monday 2nd July.
