On Thursday 2nd April, year 8 English classes went on a trip to see "Romeo and Juliet" at Shakespeare's Globe was an experience that promised to bring the pages of our play to life. The production of "Romeo and Juliet" that we attended was part of the "Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank" series, specially designed for younger audiences.

The performance was dynamic and engaging, capturing the essence of Shakespeare's language while making it accessible and relatable. The actors brought the characters to life with such passion and energy. Romeo and Juliet's youthful love, the fiery feud between the Montagues and the Capulets, and the heartwrenching moments of tragedy were portrayed with emotional depth. We were all fully engrossed in the unfolding drama.
