WEEK 7

John 15:12 My command is this: love each other as I have loved you.

A prayer by a primary school pupil:

Dear God, Thank you for our lives, food, families, fun and football. Please help us make every day a better day by making the right choices and thank you for wisdom. Amen

16-7-24

Today is the Lord’s prayer:

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, they will be done,

On Earth, as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil,

For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever, Amen

Dear Lord, thank you for the blessings you give us and help us to be a force for good in our local community. We thank you for all we have achieved this school year. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear God, We pray for those in need or in difficult circumstances in our local community. We pray you would be their strength and their shield. Show us how we can help those around us who are in need. In Jesus’ name, Amen

19-7-24

Lord Jesus Christ,

send us out with confidence in your word,

to tell the world of your saving acts,

and bring glory to your name. Amen.

WEEK 8

Dear Lord, We thank You for the mystery of creation:

for the beauty that the eye can see,

for the marvels that the ear can hear,

for all the amazing mysteries that fill

the universe with wonder. Amen.

Dear Lord, Thank you for another school year and for all the good things we’ve done. We pray you would bless the last day of term tomorrow and that you would keep us safe and well through the summer and bring us together again in September. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
