Term 5 Week 4


Proverbs 18:15 - An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge


Father God, We ask that you help us to look out for our neighbours and those in need. Thank you for being with us every day.  In Jesus’ name, Amen


A prayer of blessing from the book of Numbers in the Bible.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;  The Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace.  Amen


Father God, We pray a prayer of thanks for the work of the teaching staff across the school. We ask that you would enable them to help all pupils reach their potential. Amen


Dear God, We thank you for all of your creation. Help us to appreciate the natural world and to treat it with wisdom and with care.  Amen



Before we end our busy day, We bow our heads and we pray, That God will keep us safe and sound until another comes around. Amen

Term 5 Week 5


Proverbs 2:6 For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;


Father God, Thank you for the weekend. As we start another week help us not only to love ourselves but to love others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.


Father God, Help us to remember our school’s values of Compassion, Friendship, Forgiveness, Hope & Wisdom. Help us to put these values into practice every day. In Jesus name, Amen.


Father God,

We thank you for our families and the way they love and take care of us. We pray particularly for those families that are going through difficult times and ask that you give them strength and comfort.

In Jesus name, Amen.


Dear Lord, Help everyone to achieve their hopes and dreams throughout the bad and the good times. Thank you for all the happy times we have and our friends and families. In Jesus name, Amen.



Father God, We thank you for all the teachers and support staff who work for St George’s, to make our school such a great place to learn and ask that you help us all to do, and be, the best that we can be for you and for each other. In Jesus name, Amen.

Term 5 Week 6


James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.


Dear Lord, We thank you for the day we have had – help us to learn from our mistakes and to celebrate our successes. Be with us as we go on and enjoy the rest of the day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.


Today we will hear the Serenity Prayer:

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. Amen


Dear Lord, Take us to the place where we are no longer looking at the mountains we face but looking down upon them, where we can have the wisdom to make good choices and a peace that surpasses all understanding. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.


O God, Who instructed the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, Grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.


Primary prayer

Thank you, Lord, that you’re our friend, You delight in all we do, Especially when you hear our prayers, And we give thanks to you. Amen.
