The deadline for Year R applications for September 2021 entry is now closed.
APPLYING FOR PLACES SEPTEMBER 2021
To apply for a place for Year R and Year 7 you will need to complete the School's Supplementary Form and return to Admissions at the school. You will also need to complete the online Common Application Form (CAF), which can be found at www.kent.gov.uk.

SIXTH FORM:
You can apply for a Sixth Form place after 1st November. To apply for a Sixth Form place you need to go through the Kent Choices website - www.ucasprogress.com/search. You will receive log in information in November. If you have not received this information please speak to your careers advisor at your current school.

Appeals
If you named St George’s Church of England Foundation School as one of your preferences on the SCAF but have not been offered a place at the school, then you have a statutory right of appeal.
Appeals information and Key Dates for Year 7 September 2021 Appeals
If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2021 you can appeal between 1 March -28 March 2021 to guarantee that your appeal will be heard by 14 June 2021. For applications made in the normal admission round, appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals. For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 schools days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 schools days of the appeals being lodged.
If you would like to appeal please complete the Secondary School Appeal Form found on our website and either post it or email it no later than FRIDAY, 26TH MARCH 2021 to:

Appeals are scheduled to take place the week commencing (TBC) and appellants will be notified in writing of the date of their appeal at least 10 days prior to their hearing (unless they have agreed to waive this right).

In-Year or Immediate Entry Appeals
Appeals resulting from in-year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing together with a copy of the school’s case 10 clear school days in advance of the hearing. If an appellant wishes to submit further evidence which was not included with their initial appeal, they must make sure that it is received at least 5 clear school days prior to the hearing date.
